Welcome to The North Carolina Arboretum family! As a member, you belong to a strong community connected to the Southern Appalachian region. With your membership gift, you help support acres of cultivated gardens and seasonal landscape exhibits, miles of natural wooded trails, youth and adult educational programming, engaging exhibits and more. Thank you for helping us advance our mission of cultivating connections among people, plants and places.

Membership 101

• In the coming weeks, you will receive your permanent membership card(s) in the mail, which will give you free parking access for one year, as well as discounts to participating Asheville area garden and nursery retailers and the Connections Gallery Gift Shop.
• Your membership card will give you reciprocal privileges at more than 380 gardens and arboreta across the country through the American Horticultural Society.
• Your membership card will give you free access to the North Carolina Zoo (must present card at ticket booth for validation).
• You can login to your account online to see your current membership, renew, and register for classes. You will need to be logged in to receive your membership discount. If you have purchased with us before and this is the first time logging into your account, login using your email address and click on the forgot password button. If you are a new user, you can create a new account.
• Members will receive the Arboretum Insider newsletter twice a month with upcoming events and happenings. Email us at membership@ncarboretum.org to add or update your email to our system.

How to Get Involved

We invite you to join our community and become involved with our mission-focused programs to help you better experience the Arboretum.

• Youth & Family Programs – From self-guided activities to camps to youth events and more, get your child involved in science and the natural world. Members receive a 10% discount on program registrations.
• Adult Education Programs – Grow your mind and appreciation for nature by taking an array of classes taught by the region’s leading experts covering a variety of disciplines and subject matters. Members receive a 10% discount on class registrations.
• Upcoming Exhibits & Events – Participate in the Arboretum’s engaging indoor and outdoor exhibits focused on science, art, education and culture.
