SUMMARY:AE21 Finding Beauty in the Ephemeral: Making Nature-Inspired Mandalas
DESCRIPTION:ONSITE \nExperience spring’s renewing energy at the North Carolina Arboretum by contemplating nature\, the season\, and mandala-making with found natural items. On the day of class we will meet together initially then set off separately on contemplative walks to gather inspiration and found items for making our own mandalas. We’ll take time to reflect on and discuss the experience before closing and returning collected items to nature. \nAll materials are provided. Registrants will be sent an email with instructions for preparing for class\, a pre-recorded video overview\, and the meeting location onsite at the Arboretum. \nWednesday\, June 9; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. \nLEARN MORE
