A gentle invitational experience to enliven your senses\, slow down the hectic pace\, quiet your weary mind\, and linger in liminality. \nTogether\, we will explore natural pathways to equanimity that will help us navigate life’s ups and downs and the holiday season. \nYour guide\, Kelly Bruce\, will lead you on a winter wander through the sleeping forest\, weaving mindfulness\, breathwork\, forest bathing and nature therapy together for a restorative afternoon on some of the trails less traveled at the North Carolina Arboretum. We’ll celebrate the experience in community\, enjoying a wild-foraged tea ceremony and snacks. Bring an open mind and an open heart. All are welcome. Presented through Adult & Continuing Education Programs in collaboration with Asheville Wellness Tours. \nKelly Bruce is a writer\, forest therapy guide and nature connection mentor based in Hendersonville\, North Carolina. Her mission is to help others deepen their connection with nature\, community and Self. Kelly is an Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Certified Guide and Certification Consultant. DESCRIPTION:Botanical Art Guided Studio Time with Camille\nwith Camille Daunno \nTuesday\, December 9  |  10 am- 2 pm \nREGISTER HERE \nAfter joining one of our beginner level classes\, you can attend this guided studio time to continue your artwork with guidance from Camille! Students can use our drawing or painting supplies but please bring your in-progress artwork from previous classes to continue or finish. We can have other supplies available to start new pieces but would prefer students continue their work. This class will be an in-formal time for students to come when they can and leave when they are finished so bring lunch or a snack if you plan to stay the whole time. \nCamille Daunno is a retired Art Teacher with an undergraduate degree in Fine Art with graduate work in Textile Design. She worked in NYC as a designer for 10 years designing Fabric and wallpaper. Camille studied Art in NJ\, NYC and Italy and studied Botanical Illustration and Painting at the NY Botanical Gardens with a certified instructor.
