SUMMARY:Nature Connects®: Art with LEGO® Bricks
DESCRIPTION:The Arboretum is excited to welcome back the widely popular traveling exhibit\, Nature Connects®: Art with LEGO® Bricks by Sean Kenney. Featuring 16 larger-than-life-size sculptures placed throughout the Arboretum’s gardens and created with nearly 500\,000 LEGO Bricks\, this family-friendly exhibit draws inspiration from the living world and combines art\, play and science to create an inspiring intersection of education\, entertainment and the environment. New sculptures include a five-foot tall colorful peacock\, giant dragonfly\, bonsai tree and more! \nThe exhibit runs through November 1\, and there is no admission cost to view the sculptures beyond our usual parking fee of $25 per personal vehicle. \nExhibit support for Nature Connects®: Art with LEGO® Bricks is provided in part by The North Carolina Arboretum Society; Asheville Citizen-Times; B.B. Barns Garden\, Gift and Landscape Company; Camilla Calnan Photography\, The Laurel of Asheville; Mosaic Community Lifestyle Realty; RomanticAsheville.com Travel Guide; Smoky Mountain Living Magazine; and Henco North Creative Imaging. \nClick the image above for a high-resolution version of the exhibit map. \n(Don’t forget! You have the chance to check out all 16 incredible LEGO® sculptures lit up after dark during ArborEvenings\, which runs through September. Visit the link for more info and dates.)
