DESCRIPTION:Botanical Painting for Beginners (4-sessions)\nwith Camille Daunno \nFour Sessions \nTuesdays\, September 1\, 8\, 15\, 22 |  10 am – 1 pm \nRegister Here!\n  \nIn this beginner level class\, learn several watercolor painting techniques while experimenting with different brushes\, techniques and other ways to enhance your personal style. All materials and supplies will be provided for this class and students will take home their in-progress or finished artwork. \nCamille Daunno is a retired Art Teacher with an undergraduate degree in Fine Art with graduate work in Textile Design. She worked in NYC as a designer for 10 years designing Fabric and wallpaper. Camille studied Art in NJ\, NYC and Italy and studied Botanical Illustration and Painting at the NY Botanical Gardens with a certified instructor. DESCRIPTION:Landscape Design Fundamentals (2-sessions)\nwith Jennifer Verprauskus \nFriday\, September 18  |  1 – 3:30pm \nFriday\, September 25  |  1 – 3:30pm \nBREG – Core \nRegister Here!\n  \nStudents will learn the fundamentals of landscape design in a two-part class that introduces participants to design principles\, site assessment and planning\, among other topics. Gain a better understanding of what comes into play in creating and managing sustainable and aesthetically appealing landscapes. We will also brush on some basic permaculture design practices. You will come away empowered to be more creative\, instinctive\, decisive and purposeful in understanding good design and more adept at recognizing what’s not. \nJennifer Verprauskus is a North Carolina Licensed Landscape Architect and a Permaculture Design Certificate Holder. She studied Landscape Architecture at the University of Massachusetts & Cal Poly. Since graduating\, she has traveled the world to help people grow trees and their own food.
