DESCRIPTION:Mountains Region Entomology Season Summit\nAugust 29th\, 2026 @ 10:00 am \nLocation: The North Carolina Arboretum \nRegistration is required for this event. \nRegister Here!\nGrab your antennas and buzz on down to the NC Arboretum to celebrate the end of Entomology Field Season with local entomologist\, Robbie Zinna of Mars Hill University! We’ll meet in the Playing Woods outdoor classroom then venture out on a search to see what different types of flying and terrestrial insects we can find around the NC Arboretum! We’ll have games\, activities\, and you guessed it – bugs! \n\nThis event is for kids aged 5 – 13 years old and accompanying adults. \nCONTACT: ecoexplore@ncarboretum.org \nParking fees for the arboretum will be waived for ecoEXPLORE program registrants. Attending this event counts towards Entomology Challenge #4
