Looking for Arboretum hats and sweatshirts? Sure, we have them! But there is so much more to be found exploring the Connections Gallery Gift Shop in the Baker Visitor Center. Handmade crafts, jewelry, books, clothing, ceramics and more are available so you can take your Arboretum memories home with you.
“I try to bring themes of gardens, insects, animals, birds and sustainable products to each item we carry,” says gift shop manager Tracy Grassette. “Our kids’ section has amazing nature themed toys and some great books as well.”
With an extra focus on items made by local and regional artists, the gift shop offers a chance to discover unique gifts and finds that evoke the natural beauty of the Arboretum. This season, Tracy says, the Connections Gallery was excited to open a new covered patio featuring great garden items and decorations.
Proceeds from sales at the Connections Gift Shop benefit The North Carolina Arboretum Society, which in turn provides invaluable support to keep the Arboretum operating.
