EXPLOREcorps High School Volunteer Program
EXPLOREcorps is a volunteer engagement program open to high school-aged participants with an interest in the outdoors, conservation education, and environmental science. EXPLOREcorps members will gain hands-on experience and develop skills in areas such as teaching children, live animal care, community and citizen science, field biology, and outdoor recreation. The main task of EXPLOREcorps will be volunteering at Discovery Camp.
Requirements:
- Participants must be high school-aged (rising grades 9-12)
- Participants must have reliable transportation to and from the Arboretum
- Participants must volunteer a minimum of two weeks at the Arboretum’s Discovery Camp. This is a weeklong (Monday – Friday) environmental day camp for students K-8th grade.
