Meet the Artist: Sayaka Ganz

Come meet artist Sayaka Ganz, creator of Reclaimed Creations, the newest exhibit hosted by The North Carolina Arboretum. Born in Yokohama, Japan, Ganz grew up in Japan, Brazil and Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. A lecturer and teacher, Ganz has displayed her work around the globe, including the Hermann Geiger Foundation in Cecina, Italy, the Isle Gallery in Isle of Man and the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California.
Visitors are invited to meet Ganz in the exhibit hall of the Baker Exhibit Center on Saturday, September 22, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 – 4 p.m.
